About
Hello! I'm a software engineer based in Australia with a diverse background that spans from system administration to founding a company, management, and engineering.
Formerly an Apple-certified system engineer, I have since transitioned into software engineering. My time at Apple instilled in me a deep appreciation for creative products and exceptional UX/UI design. I also have a penchant for collecting unique keyboards, mice, and interesting gadgets or EDC/tactical gear.
I co-founded Aceworld Pty Ltd with my best friend Jason, who later moved to Montreal, Canada. Our company developed web apps for various startups, but unfortunately, we had to close it due to the geographical separation. Despite this, we both share a keen interest in the intricacies of software development, including methodologies, productivity, agile practices, and team dynamics in tech teams.
Currently, my work focuses on frontend architecture using vanilla JavaScript and TypeScript. I specialize in building and enhancing components to enrich the WYSIWYG editor ecosystem at Atlassian.
I'm always eager to explore new technologies. Some of the ones I’ve delved into or am interested in include GraphQL, HTMX, gRPC, WebAssembly, and Rust.
If you're seeking someone who combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills, or if you're interested in collaborating on the technologies I mentioned, please feel free to reach out!
